Bio

Sara Street studied visual arts at Rhode Island School of Design, Massachusetts College of Art, and The Art Institute of Boston. She studied dance at Rhode Island Ballet Center, Boston Conservatory, Institute for Contemporary Dance, School of American Ballet Theater, Luigi Jazz Centre, and The Alvin Ailey School.
Sara has taught dance in private studios, churches, and other venues. She has founded and directed several corporations including American Dance School Inc.,the first all jazz dance studio in Boston whose resident company opened the Hatch Shell Bicentennial Celebrations, and the Artists Alliance Against Violence Inc.
Sara has done choreography for and directed a number of dance performance groups including The Living Stones who have performed at Mount Saint Alphonsus, St. Andrews Church, Holy Cross, and on secular stages. Her most recent project was “A Perfect Gift: All That is Jazz” a live dance and music revue.
Currently she is selling her artwork in shops and at fairs, on Etsy as Silly and Serious Cards,and doing Contemplative Movement Energy Healing Sessions with individuals and groups.
